These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through ldkjewels.co.za (“the Website”), operated by LDK Jewels (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase.
All prices displayed on the Website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or product description errors, even after an order has been submitted.
Payments are processed securely through Payfast, a licensed South African payment gateway. We do not store your card details. An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.
We currently deliver within South Africa only, via courier.
You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before it has been dispatched, by emailing payments@ldkjewels.co.za with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, our Returns and Refunds Policy below applies instead.
In line with South African consumer protection legislation covering transactions concluded online, you have the right to cancel a qualifying order within 7 (seven) days of receiving the goods, subject to the exclusions listed under Returns and Refunds below.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return an eligible item within 7 (seven) days of delivery, provided that:
Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be returned unless faulty. Custom, personalised or made-to-order pieces are also excluded from change-of-mind returns, unless faulty, as these are made specifically for you.
Faulty or defective goods: If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. In line with the Consumer Protection Act, you will be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund at our discretion, at no cost to you.
Refunds: Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Payfast within 7 to 10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Original delivery fees are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error or a fault in the goods.
We make every effort to display our jewellery, including colours, gemstones and finishes, as accurately as possible. Slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our pieces and differences in screen display. Weights, dimensions and stone measurements listed are approximate.
All content on this Website, including images, product designs, text and branding, is the property of LDK Jewels and may not be reproduced or used without our prior written consent.
While we take reasonable care to ensure the Website operates smoothly, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LDK Jewels shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this Website, save where such liability cannot be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Website will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
